Thankyou everyone for your kind commets.
I'm now 2 weeks post op and feeling much better I have to say. I'm using the crutches alot easier and didn't realise I was such a good hopper BigGrin I must admit I'm getting a tad bored now but I did a painting this morning which I'm quite proud of.

I am still NOT taking any RA drugs at all. Apparently there is a risk of infection still at this early stage of taking humira and the anti imflammotys ( spelling is bad - you'd think I'd know how to spell that word by now RollEyes ) could make the fusion not happen. So I'm not taking any risks of that happening. My RA is still okay fingers crossed at the moment without any meds. I can't actually believe I'm not taking any!! I'm back to the hospital next week for an xray to see if everything is still how it should be and to remove the stitches where they did the bone graft.

2 WEEKS DONE IN THE CAST - 4 WEEKS TO GO - HOPEFULLY!!!

That's brilliant news, Kelly! It's amazing how you get used to crutches isn't it?

Just wondering how many signatures you've got on your cast now?Smile

Have you always painted, or is this something you have just taken up recently? Steve paints - I'm useless but do a mean gloss door frame!

Keeping everything crossed you don't have any probs before you can go back on your meds.
